Bunker Shots

Here are some excellent videos that will help you learn how to play bunker shots. Just remember: for a standard greenside bunker shot, you’re simply using your half swing. And in a real round of golf, you’re not allowed to touch the sand with your hand or your club before the shot.

But when you’re practicing, take full advantage of the freedom you have. Draw lines in the sand, draw circles around the ball — do whatever helps you learn the feeling of pushing the sand onto the green. When you move the sand correctly, the ball will always follow.
