How to Improve Your Golf Swing Balance

Having good balance in the golf swing is severely underrated.

Because without good balance, you’ll find it very hard to hit the center of the face… consistently.

So today, I’m going to give you a couple of really simple things you can do to improve your balance.

The first is to simply hit balls with your feet together.

Doing this teaches you a number of important things that you don’t even have to think about.

Just hit balls with your feet together and swing at a speed that allows you to maintain balance. When you do this, you’ll find that you can’t really swing fully—and that’s fine. Half or three-quarter swings are perfect.

It’s such a simple drill with lots of positives.

The other thing you can do to improve balance is to swing to a full finish and hold your finish. You can lower the club, but actually hold your body’s finish position until your ball stops moving.

Doing this will really expose whether you’ve had good balance in your swing.

If you can’t do this, keep trying until you can consistently hold your finish until the ball stops rolling.

So there you go—two simple ways to improve balance.

And if your balance is poor, doing these simple things will help you hit the ball better.
