To hit high pitch shots that stop quickly you need to first setup to shots in such a way that will encourage this. And a setup that will help you to get the ball up early is one where you position the ball off your front foot.   Next you want to have your feet open and you also want your clubface open as well.  From this setup you then need to swing fully along your toe line so you are in effect cutting across the ball.

This golf shot takes some practice to perfect, but once you’ve done it you’ll soon find your shots stop very quickly upon landing.
